Playing chess supports logical thinking, the ability to concentrate, creativity, and imagination. The children learn long-term planing and take responsibility for their decisions. Self-Protection Awareness / Self-Defense Seminar
OurPower is a Self-Protection Awareness / Self-Defense Seminar based on the Empower methodology. This introductory seminar will focus on mothers and daughters (10 - 12 years old), but will be open for any interested community members. Instruction will focus on awareness, assertiveness and action, and will culminate with realistic, reality-based scenario drills that will give all the participants an opportunity to pressure test their skills in a safe environment. Total of 13 hours of training for women (16 & up) and girls
